We are very grateful for Palliative Care services. Their services were extremely helpful and gave us the confidence and strength to take care of the patient at home. At a time when we did not know what to do after hearing that there were no further treatment options, their guidance made all the difference.

It is important to create awareness that palliative care is not only for the terminal stage but can also be valuable throughout the course of treatment. When we were financially exhausted after all the medical expenses, their free service was truly commendable. The team is very empathetic and available 24×7 through phone. They have dedicated teams with a Doctor, nurse & a counselor. Dr. Harshada, nurse Ramadevi & Counselor Venkatesh were assigned to our patient who visit weekly or upon request. With their support, we were able to look after the patient with strength and confidence. Without them, we might have ended up in the ICU.

Your team’s care goes beyond the medical—it touches the very heart of what it means to be human. The way you listen, the small gestures of kindness, and the genuine warmth you bring to every interaction make a huge difference. You don’t just care for patients, you see them during the most difficult of times.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the unwavering support provided by Rajitha akka and Prajwal sir during one of the most emotionally challenging phases of my life — my mother’s final journey.

Both of them, through the home care support provided by the MNJ Hospital, made a lasting impact on our lives with their presence and dedication.

Rajitha akka, with her soft hands and softer heart, brought a sense of calm into our home. Whether it was helping with my mother’s wound dressing or, in the later stages, gently supporting her in bathing, she carried out her duties with not just skill but immense compassion. She treated my mother not just as a patient, but as someone deeply loved — and that meant the world to me. Her quiet presence was comforting, and her consistent care helped me emotionally hold myself together when everything else felt like it was falling apart.

Prajwal sir was a pillar of calm and clarity throughout. He ensured every medication was explained clearly, checking in regularly and patiently answering even the smallest doubts I had. His ability to simplify complicated medical details while treating us with empathy — not just as a family, but as human beings in grief — is something I will never forget. His guidance gave us the courage to face each day with a little more strength.

Together, they weren’t just medical professionals — they became a quiet extension of our family during those final weeks. Their kindness, their attention to detail, their emotional intelligence — these are the things that matter the most when you’re caring for someone at home, in their most vulnerable moments.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to both of them. I truly believe they deserve recognition, not just as professionals, but as people who bring dignity, comfort, and humanity into end-of-life care. The hygienic, peaceful conditions helped her transition from life at home to life at the care facility, a place we trusted to keep her happy, rested, and safe. I am deeply grateful to have completed the Advanced Pediatric Palliative Care course Clinical Rotation held in Hyderabad under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Gayathri Palat Madam, Dr. Archana Iyengar Madam, and Dr. Jagadeeshwar Reddy Sir. The training, which took place at MNJ Cancer Institute (for cancer conditions), Niloufer Hospital (for non-cancer conditions), and Mandara/Kumudini Devi Hospice, was an enriching and transformative experience.

This course was conducted under the aegis of the Pain Releif and Palliative Care Society,Romila Palliative care and IAP, and I extend my sincere thanks to all involved.

A special note of thanks to Dr. Robbie Madam and Dr. Soundarya for their kind support and guidance during hospital rounds and counseling sessions. Your mentorship played a significant role in shaping my learning.

My heartfelt gratitude to all the Resident PGs, whose patience and dedication helped me learn the nuances of pediatric palliative care. I’m also thankful to Vineela Garu for her continuous coordination, support, and encouragement throughout the course.

I deeply appreciate the unwavering efforts of the nursing staff, counselors, drivers, and all the supporting staff, whose contributions often go unsung but are truly the backbone of care delivery.

I was truly amazed by the seamless coordination among the three centers under the visionary leadership of Dr. Gayathri Madam. Hyderabad undoubtedly stands out as one of the best centers for learning pediatric and neonatal pain and palliative care. Dr. Archana Iyengar Madam is doing phenomenal work in handling a high patient load

Kumudini Devi Hospice, nestled in a serene and healing environment, is a place where just being there brings comfort. It is beautifully managed by President Jaganath Sir, Vineela Garu, the nursing in-charge, and all the compassionate counselors and Nursing Staff

Mandara Hospice is another beacon of hope, where Dr. Jagadeeshwar Reddy Sir and his team are doing commendable work in serving children with utmost dedication.

Every staff member working in this field truly embodies the spirit of “Service to Humanity is Service to God.”

I am Dorcas, wife of Caleb, who was suffering with brain cancer. For the past year, we have been under the care of Dr. Gayatri and her incredible home care team. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care and unwavering support you provided to Caleb during his illness. Your team’s dedication and compassion were a beacon of light during our darkest times, and we are profoundly grateful for your impeccable service.

Throughout Caleb’s prolonged battle with sickness, we faced numerous challenges, and your team was always there for us. Whether it was a late-night call or an urgent visit, your readiness to assist never wavered. The back-to-back medical crises were incredibly tough, but knowing that we had such a dedicated team gave us immense comfort.

Special mention goes to Kumar, whose empathy and assurance gave us confidence and comfort. Dr. Sameena, Dr. Robbie, and Dr. Sunil were consistently kind and supportive throughout the entire process. Nurse Lakshmi was always ready to help, and her willingness to serve was deeply appreciated.
